QFT. 116 AL (which almost all paragons in pvp are likely to have, since they should be wearing centurion's insignias and a shield) on what is essentially a backline character is goddman ridiculous. Drop Para AL to 70, drop the centurion's insignia bonus to +5 and give them another pip of energy regen. Shouts are reasonably powerful as it is, so I dont think this could really compromise para's too terribly much. This still makes para's hard targets (which I think is what ANet wants) but not fantastically imba hard targets.

80+10+16 = 106, unless you're counting "+10 vs [type of damage]" shield mods...
But yeah, para armor is imba. People have been saying that since release. I think even dropping it to 60 would be fine since shield is a given... or 70 + remove/rework centurion's insignia to something that doesn't add armor.

If it gets people fame, they will do it, its all a cause and effect situation, a good way to stop the ''spikes'', and (Insert Profession Here)Ways, is nerf soul reaping, and add more rigorous tasks people have to do in order to get to halls so their builds have to we modified. Yes, and had very good success with 3 different balanced builds.
I also miss the rift wardens although that wont fix the issues in tombs.

I never knew i had made 32 000 posts. Intresting isnt it, posts fly when your having fun typing on the forms. Yes although you may have heard this request, i think it is nessercary to repeat some things which is why i say (as i have stated in other posts). Because although you may have read those other posts someone may not have. Hence they will come here and start asking questions like why when how ect.

altar capping? you see, even if they brought back the altar (gale wars ftl.) theres always something to complain about its like ffs play the game for what it is. alot of skills (and for that matter attributes; soul reaping.) do need balancing, but theres a difference between balancing and personal preference.
im not saying i didnt enjoy altar matches, because i did. but with the kind of builds being played at the moment lol it would just really suck.

Hello, my name is mesmer. No one really uses me in HA anymore, but whine about melee spikes and skills like OOA. I have these skills called blackout, pshychic distraction (typo?), and powerblock, but I cant remember what they do now because no one wants me to use them anymore. I have a friend called Elementalist that has a skill called blinding surge, but I dont know what this does either cos no one uses it and they keep on getting owned by paragons, rangers with hammers, and assasins for some reason.
Also I would like to buy a new skill - one like psychic distaction but that deactivates the interupted skill on all party members. Would this work against spikes?

Hello my name is Kill count, I make it so whenever you shut down another teams monks, the third team will get kills, the team will probably just farm kills from the other team and you'll lose.
Hello, my name is overextended I make it so that whenever you try to interupt OOA you get instantly owned by traps, snares, and warriors, because the Necro is at the other side of the map, and you have to massively overextend to get to the necro.

Let me introduce myself. My name is altar capping. I'm the most revered format in Heroes Ascent and people want me back. They say that playing me requires more skill because they say skill is to endure 2 teams that want ghostly heroes dead or constantly interrupted for 2.5 minutes. I made people create builds with 8 monks, primary or secondary, or 2 choking gas rangers and sometimes they bring fertile season and symbiosis for the win, or 1 psychic distracting mesmer with gale, or a monk backline with spellbreaker, or Devensive Paragon shit builds with warrior/eles with wards and countless of trash holding builds. When I was in HA, I made kids win for like forever like Power of My Ranger and others. I don't know but the only time I enjoyed HA was seeing almost all of the people dead but 1 necro with the ghostly hero running and capping the altar. Yea, Edge of Extinction, I'll miss.
Oopps here's my friend btw. His name is anti melee hexes. He's somewhat schizo. Sometimes he's price of failure. The next time he's spirit of failure. And some other time he's faintheartedness. See he exists in other many forms. During the time that the shit build called IWAY was in its prime, only a few people used him. How dumb are those people who just whined in forums instead of using them? Take a guess. Iway's offense was 4 warriors and 2 trappers and people made ranger spike teams, "balanced" builds with 2 warriors 3 monks warders and migraine mesmers!. That's like omg. Anyway, the only people who used antimelee hexes are the one who farmed good IWAY teams. The rest farmed bad iway teams. And people just started using antimelee hexes lately and too bad in a few days, some of his personalities will be nerfed.

The comment was aimed at trying to interupt an enchant with extreme range. When he mentioned OOA, I just had to bring up the build that abused it the most, sorry. My post was kind of an exageration, about the constantly having to overextend and get owned part, but I'm sure you get the point.

SoD seems to shut down every para spike/thump way ive come across.
I think OOA needs to do much higher damage to the necro per monk enchant removed, maybe 25-50% more then it is atm.
OOA and splinter wep need nerfing plz.
